
The Board of International School Rheintal (ISR) has appointed Dominique Hasler as its new Chair. The former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Education of the Principality of Liechtenstein will assume the role on 1 August 2026.
With Dominique Hasler, ISR welcomes a highly respected leader with extensive experience in education, international leadership and multilateral relations. Holding dual Liechtenstein and Swiss citizenship, Dominique Hasler is deeply connected to the region while bringing broad international experience. She combines strong regional roots, a global perspective and a wealth of experience in leadership.
As Minister of Foreign Affairs, she was responsible for Liechtenstein’s international network and played a key role in fostering cooperation with countries and organisations around the world. In this capacity, she led major negotiations, developed strategic partnerships and advanced initiatives within international bodies, including the United Nations and the Council of Europe.
As Minister of Education, she oversaw the strategic development of Liechtenstein’s education system for eight years, covering all stages from early childhood education through to higher education. Prior to her ministerial roles, she worked as a teacher and held various leadership positions in the education sector. She holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and combines educational expertise with strategic thinking and a deep understanding of educational policy and practice.
The Board is confident that Dominique Hasler will support the strategic development of ISR with foresight, commitment and a clear understanding of the evolving demands of education.
